Two films for Gate One

Month one is Instagram and TikTok, and nothing else. These two films wait until posting three times a week feels normal to you, because an eighteen minute film is a different craft from a forty second Reel and learning both at once is how people quit.

Instagram is discovery and relationship. YouTube is the only surface where a film made once is still being found next year. The playlist is the product, not the single video: both of these sit inside The Seven Gates · Gate One, Root.

Root Chakra Yoga · A 20 Minute Grounding Practice

The film someone finds by searching. It has to deliver the whole practice on its own, without any part of the method explained first.

The room

One camera, one wide shot, full body in frame. Daylight. A mat and a chair in shot from the first second, so a woman who cannot get to the floor knows immediately that this is also for her. Record the bowl live at the end, in the same room, not added afterwards.

Root chakra yoga · grounding practice · Muladhara · yoga for anxiety is NOT allowed as a title, it is a health claim. Use: beginner grounding yoga, 20 minute root chakra practice, yoga for feeling unsettled.

The film, beat by beat
0:00 to 0:50
Say this in the first ten seconds. My name is Elena Daenen, and Daenen is said DAH-nen. This is a twenty minute practice for the Root Gate, the first of the seven gates I teach. You do not need experience, and you do not need to get to the floor. A chair works for all of it.
0:50 to 2:20
What the Root is, in plain words. The Root Gate is about safety, support and home. In the body it is simple: how much ground you feel under you, and whether you can rest your weight on something. That is the whole idea. You do not have to believe in chakras to practise this. Then the boundary, said once, calmly: I am a teacher, not a therapist, and I am not going to promise you a result.
2:20 to 5:00
Arriving. Seated. Feet, sit bones, breath. Slow the count down. Let one full breath pass with nothing said.
5:00 to 8:30
Standing. Mountain, then a long forward fold. One instruction, then silence. Hold longer than feels comfortable to you as the teacher.
8:30 to 12:00
Building. Low lunge, warrior II, tree. Name the sensation you want her to look for, not the shape you want her to make.
12:00 to 15:30
Floor. Seated forward fold, supine twist, knees to chest. Voice drops here.
15:30 to 18:00
Stillness and the bowl. Lying on the back, savasana. Play the bowl live, note C, which is the note of this gate. Do not talk over it.
18:00 to 19:30
Silence, then return. Let the last tone end completely before you speak. Bring her back slowly.
19:30 to 20:00
Close. That is the Root Gate. If you want to know which gate is asking for your attention first, the free self assessment is in the description. Nothing else.

The Root Chakra and Demeter · Where Safety Begins in the Body

The film that makes the method legible. It is the one a woman sends to a friend, and the one that carries the goddess layer without a single personality claim.

The room

Seated, closer shot than the practice film. One or two cutaways only: the bowl, and your hands on the floor. No slides, no text on screen except the six signs.

Root chakra meaning · Demeter myth · chakra and archetype. This is the film that answers a question people type, so the first sixty seconds must answer it before any story.

The film, beat by beat
0:00 to 1:00
Open with the question, not with yourself. Most people meet the first chakra as a colour and a list of words. That never helped me. What helped was one question: how much ground do I actually feel under me today?
1:00 to 3:00
What a gate is, and the permission. I call them gates, not centres, because a gate is something you walk through. I never ask anyone to believe in them first. You look at the pattern in your own week, and you decide whether the map is useful.
3:00 to 7:00
The six signs, in real life. Use the concrete ones, said slowly, with a pause after each: I check my bank account even when I know there is enough. There is no place where I feel completely at home. When someone cancels a plan, my whole day is ruined. Then three of your own, from the method.
7:00 to 10:00
The distinction that earns the film. The Root can look like too little ground, or like too much control. They look opposite. They are the same question, asked in two directions. The middle is not certainty, it is supported flexibility.
10:00 to 13:30
Demeter. Her daughter disappears, she searches, and in her grief the earth stops growing. Her light is devotion. Her shadow is what happens when care becomes so complete that nothing is left for her. Say it once, clearly: I do not use a goddess to tell you who you are. I use her as a mirror.
13:30 to 16:00
The practice. Both hands flat on the floor. Three slow breaths. Let the floor support you before you support anything else. Silence for the breaths.
16:00 to 17:30
The bowl. Note C. Then the honest sentence: you may notice vibration, focus, emotion, or nothing dramatic at all. All of those are a real result.
17:30 to 18:30
Close. Seven gates can sound like a lot. Begin with one. The free self assessment points to the gate asking for attention first, and the link is below.
One CTA Same single link. Then say the playlist name out loud: this film sits in The Seven Gates, Gate One, Root.
Film both in one afternoon if you can. Most of the cost is not the filming. It is changing clothes, finding the light, moving the furniture and getting your voice ready. Do that once, not four times, and the plan survives the weeks when you do not feel like it.
