The part nobody tells you about

Your production kit

You do not need to learn design, video editing and copywriting. You need three apps and one afternoon a week. Everything here exists to make the recording small enough that you keep doing it in week five, which is where most people stop.

The teleprompter

A screen that scrolls your words while you look at the lens. You never memorise a sixty second script, and it does not look like reading, because your eyes stay on the camera. Set the speed to your own pace before the first take, not during it.

One editing app, not three

Start with CapCut. It is free and it has more beginner tutorials than anything else, and it does the three things you need: the cut between two ideas, the subtitles, and the export. Captions is the paid alternative if you want the teleprompter and the subtitles in one place. Instagram Edits also works. Choose one and learn only that one this month.

Canva for everything that is not video

The carousels and the single image cards. Paste your four hex codes in once and save them as your brand colours, so you never pick a purple by eye: purple 440069, violet 7D429E, gold C08E1D, linen FBF8F3.

Your own GPT

Trained on your method: the gates, the goddesses, the pillars, your voice and the words you never use. Use it to draft a caption and to get past a blank page. Never publish a line from it that you have not read out loud.

The shared Drive

Your logo in every format, the seven gate colours, and the goddess images from the dashboards. Until it exists you cannot make the goddess carousel, so it is a real dependency, not a nice extra.

The filming block

One afternoon a week, everything at once. One outfit, the phone set up once, and you film the whole week in a row: two Reels, the video for the carousel, and three or four story clips. Then you edit and post them across the following seven days.

Two hours once beats twenty minutes seven times, because most of the cost is not the filming. It is changing clothes, finding the light, moving the furniture and getting your voice ready. Do that once, not seven times, and the plan survives the weeks when you do not feel like it.

The first week is a rehearsal
Record two Reels you will never post. Film them, cut them, add the subtitles, export them, and delete them. The goal of that week is the app, not the post. You will be faster on the third one than on the first, and nobody has to watch the first.
What to search on YouTube

Look for a tutorial under ten minutes, made in the last year, that shows the screen and not the person talking about the screen.

You can send anything you record for feedback before you post it, in the group. A rough cut with a question is more useful than a finished video with none.
